- Q: I am getting lines on my pages, what should I do?
- A: Have you tried a new toner cartridge? A bad toner can cause numerous print defects; lines, repeating marks, & ghosting images.
- Q: Is it bad to use remanufactured toner cartridges?
- A: No, if the remanufactured cartridges are done correctly there is no harm in using them. With our remanufactured toner cartridges we give a money back guarantee. In addition, if one of our cartridges causes any damage to your machine we will fix the problem at no cost to you.
- Q: Why would I buy a refurbished printer instead of a new one?
- A: All of our refurbished equipment comes with new OEM parts. We guarantee that our equipment will work to OEM specs. In many cases the printers that are a few models older are more cost efficient to run.
- Q: Why would I need a network card?
- A: You would need a network card only if you are connecting your machine directly to a network. If you are connecting directly to a tower or are using a shared network you do not need a network card.
- Q: What is a duplexer and why would I need one?
- A: A duplexer is what allows your printer to print on both sides of the page automatically. If you are printing documents that are two sided it will cut down on paper expenses.
- Q: What is my cost per page?
- A: Cost per page is determined by taking the total cost of running your machine (toner, fuser, belts, PM kits) divided by pages printed. Usually calculated by 50,000 or 100,000 pages.
- Q: What does yield at 5% mean?
- A: All manufactures rate their toners based on you covering a letter size paper with 5% coverage. If you are covering more then 5% which most people are you pages per toner will be less then the stated yield.

- dpi - dots per square inch (the greater number per inch the higher the quality)
